What we support
Our mission is to work alongside vulnerable women and their families to ensure we meet their health and social needs, to encourage and empower good mental health.
Isolation, loss, birth trauma, loneliness, low self-esteem, tiredness, and fear are just a few of the obstacles we can support you to overcome. We can now offer up to 6 sessions of FREE one 2 one 45-minute counselling sessions for perinatal mental health.
Our aim and passion is to stop women and families getting to crisis point.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a support worker, a counsellor or pregnancy buddy, to sit with you and assure you that these feelings are completely natural?
Mothers Matter CIC has been developed to meet the need of perinatal and postnatal women.
Our aim is to offer support to all pregnant women, Mothers and their families. Offering guidance, advice, and listening opportunities – from the first trimester through to when Mum is ready to leave us.
Wellbeing Hub
Our Wellbeing Hubs are a place for new parents to make friends and access support. We currently run hubs at Mountain Ash and Tonypandy, and are planning more hubs soon – at Abercynon, Pontyclun and Bridgend. We welcome perinatal women of all ages to join our community. If you’d like to see a hub in your area, please let us know – get in touch with our team.
