MOTHERS MATTER

Having a baby can be the most unsettling and emotional time of your life, for many women and men the mixed bag of feelings can be overwhelming. Tiredness, sickness, loss of identity, a feeling of your body changing can have the most dramatic impact on your physical, emotional and mental health.
Mothers Matter recognises that becoming a parent is not easy. We also appreciate it is hard to be heard within the pre and postnatal stages. That is why we exist, to make sure every woman and man within their pre and postnatal journey is Listened to, Understood and Empowered.

Talking Therapy

Talking therapy is a general term to describe sessions talking with a trained therapist.

During these sessions, individuals are helped to understand and work through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. Talking therapy can help individuals identify and understand patterns and help them develop new ways of coping with difficult situations.

Talking therapy can help individuals develop new perspectives, improve communication skills, and increase self-awareness.

Talking Therapy Sessions

Essential in the mental health field, talking therapists help people improve their quality of life, and overcome various challenges they may face. They provide a supportive, non-judgmental and safe space to express themselves.
